Repentance is the key by which we can enter His Kingdom, the way by which we are cleansed to be like Him, and the way He heals a nation. Most of us feel pretty good about ourselves, we don't want anyone to point out anything that make us feel uncomfortable about anything, especially salvation. Video tal-indiema L-indiema hija ċ-ċavetta li biha nistgħu nidħlu fis-Saltna Tiegħu, it-triq li biha aħna mnaddfa biex inkunu bħalu, u l-mod kif Hu jfejjaq ġens. You claim to honor Christ by celebrating His birthday. The Heathens celebrate the Sun god's birth on December 25th, you Christians celebrate the Son of God birth on December 25th. Celebrating pagan ways , you love, God hates Jermiah 10:2 The Biblical Truth about Christ’s Birth The Satanic Ritual of Sacrificing Children (If you mix unholy with Holy it is blas·phe·my ) Every year, the priests of Ishtar would impregnate young virgins on an altar dedicated to herself and her husband*. The children were born on Christmas December 25, and the next year they were sacrificed on Easter Sunday at the sunrise service. The priests would take Ishtar's eggs and dye them in the blood of the sacrificed children. You must not worship the LORD your God the way the other nations worship their gods, for they perform for their gods every detestable act that the LORD hates. THIS Is What Jesus and the Bible Say about Christmas... Is Christmas a Christian or Pagan Holiday? Meta twieled il- Messija? Kurt Cammeron isalva l-Milied Neħles mill-Għid! Pagan Christmas How This Pagan Custom Got into the Church The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge explains clearly, in its article on "Christmas": "How much the date of the festival depended upon the pagan Brumalia (Dec. 25) following the Saturnalia (Dec. 17-24), and celebrating the shortest day in the year and the 'new sun,’. December 25th is not the birthday of Yeshua the true Christ! The apostles and early true Church never celebrated Christ's birthday at any time. There is no command or instruction to celebrate it in the Bible—rather, the celebration of birthdays is a pagan, not a Christian custom , believe it or not, the pagan festival with its riot and merrymaking was so popular that Christians were glad of an excuse to continue its celebration with little change in spirit and in manner. Christian preachers of the West and the Near East protested the unseemly frivolity with which Christ's birthday was celebrated, while Christians of Mesopotamia accused their Western brethren of idolatry and sun worship for adopting as Christian this pagan festival but remember, these people had grown up in pagan customs, chief of which was this idolatrous festival of December 25th. It was a festival of merrymaking, with its special spirit. They enjoyed it! They didn't want to give it up! Now this same article in the New Schaff- Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge Explains how the recognition by Constantine of Sunday, which had been the day of pagan sun worship, and how the influence of the pagan Manichaeism, which identified the SON of God with the physical SUN, gave these pagans of the fourth century, now turning over wholesale to "Christianity," their excuse for calling their pagan festival date of December 25th (birthday of the SUN-god) the birthday of the SON of God. And that is how "Christmas" became fastened on our Western world! We may call it by another name, but it's the same old pagan sun-worshipping festival still! ."The Real Origin of Christmas but if we got Christmas from the Roman Catholics, and they got it from paganism, where did the pagans get it? Where, when, and what was its real origin? It is a chief custom of the corrupt system denounced all through Bible prophecies and teachings under the name of Babylon. And it started and originated in the original Babylon of ancient Nimrod! She claimed a full-grown evergreen tree sprang overnight from a dead tree stump, which symbolized the springing forth unto new life of the dead Nimrod. On each anniversary of his birth, she claimed, Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts upon it. December 25th was the birthday of Nimrod. This is the real origin of the Christmas tree. We are shocked to learn the truth—some, unfortunately, take offense at the plain truth! But God commands His faithful ministers, "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression! 22 Then the Yehovah said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: 23 Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold. Exodus 20:22 Psalm 81:12 So I let them follow their stubborn desires, living according to their own ideas. Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for 1. The date of December 25 is not found in your Bible. The shepherds and sheep would not be in the fields in the winter. There is There is no verse that mentions the number of wise men. There is no mention that any of them were Kings. The wise men found the king of the Jews when he was around 2 years old. The Bible does mention not to bring an evergreen tree into your home and decorate it Mary and Joseph were not required to travel in the winter Yehovah says a lying tongue is the second on His list that He hates most. Everything about Christmas is pagan, Pat Robertson admits to the fully pagan origins of Christmas and defends celebrating the Christianized pagan holiday ● Jeremiah 10:2 Thus says the LORD, "Do not learn the way of the nations, and do not be terrified by the signs of the heavens though the nations are terrified by them; 3 For the customs of the peoples are delusion; Because it is wood cut from the forest, The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. 4"They decorate it with silver and with gold; They fasten it with nails and with hammers So that it will not totter.… I have come to believe that nothing can be said to change one’s mind about Christmas. The music, gifts, food, and festive events outweigh the true meaning of Yeshua’s birth, this event trumps Yehovah. If you really want to celebrate His birth, then don't do it on the pagan sun god’s birthday on December 25th. This is what we find in the Bible. Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death!" John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Deuteronomy 12:31 Thou shalt not do so unto Jehovah thy God: for every abomination to Jehovah, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters do they burn in the fire to their gods. ● Matthew 15:9 "In vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" John 4:23 The true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. He will not accept that kind of worship, even though it is intended in His honor. To Him, He says, it is offering what is abominable to Him, and therefore it honors, not Him, but false pagan gods. GOD says we must not worship Him according to the "dictates of our conscience"—a term we often hear. Does It Honor Christ? Suppose someone you love has a birthday. You want to honor that person on his or her birthday. Would you lavishly buy gifts for everyone else, trading gifts back and forth with all your other friends and loved ones, but ignore completely any gift for the one whose birthday you are honoring? Now come two arguments often used to justify Christmas observance. Many will reason this way: "But, even though the exact date of Yeshua's birth is unknown, should we not select some date to celebrate as His birthday?" The answer is positively no! Did you not notice the statement quoted from the Catholic Encyclopedia? "Sinners alone, not saints, celebrate their birthdays." The celebration of birthdays is not a Christian, but a pagan custom, observed by sinners! But many still say, "Even so—even though Christmas was a pagan custom, honoring the false sun-god, we don't observe it to honor the false god, we observe it to honor Christ." But how does GOD answer in His Word? "Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them [the pagans in their customs] . . . that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, how did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise? Thou shalt not do so unto the Yehovah thy God: for every abomination to the Eternal, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods" But Yeshua says plainly, "Yehovah is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24). And what is truth? Yehovah’s Word—the Holy Bible—says Yeshua, is truth (John 17:17); and the Bible says Yehovah will not accept worship when people take a pagan custom or manner of worship and try to honor Christ with it. Again, Yeshua said: "In vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" (Matthew 15:9). Christmas observance is a tradition of men, and the commandments of Yehovah, as quoted, forbid it. Yeshua said, further, "Full well ye reject the commandment of Yehovah, that ye may keep your tradition." That is precisely what the millions are doing today. They ignore the commandment of Yehovah He commands, regarding taking the customs of the pagans and using them to honor or worship Yehovah: "Thou shalt not do so unto the Yehovah thy God." Still, most people today take that command of Yehovah lightly, or as having no validity whatsoever, and follow the tradition of men in observing Christmas. Make no mistake! Yehovah will allow you to defy and disobey Him. He will allow you to follow the crowd and the traditions of men. He will allow you to sin. But He also says there is a day of reckoning coming. As you sow, so shall you reap! Yeshua was the living Word of Yehovah in person, and the Bible is the written Word of Yehovah. And we shall be judged, for eternity, by these words! They should not be taken lightly or ignored. What Encyclopedias Say The word "Christmas" means "Mass of Christ," or, as it came to be shortened, "Christ-Mass." It came from the Roman /Catholic Church. Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the Church In the Scriptures, no one is recorded to have kept a feast or held a great banquet on His birthday. These recognized historical authorities show Christmas was not observed by Christians for the first two or three hundred years—a period longer than the entire history of the United States as a nation! In the fifth century, the Western Church ordered it to be celebrated forever on the day of the old Roman feast of the birth of Sol, as no certain knowledge of the day of Christ's birth existed." Sol Invictus ("Unconquered Sun") was the official sun god of the later Roman Empire and a patron of soldiers. In 274 AD the Roman emperor Aurelian made it an official cult alongside the traditional Roman cults. God forbids pagan feast days idolater, a person that admires intensely and often blindly one that is not usually a subject of worship. Idolatry is the worship of an idol or cult image, being a physical image, such as a statue, Every year, the priest of Ishtar would impregnate young virgins on an altar. The children were born on Christmas and the next year they were sacrificed at the Easter Sunday sunrise service. The priest would take Ishtar’s eggs and dye them in the blood of the sacrificed children. This was observed around 2000 years before Christ was born. 'You shall not give any of your offspring to offer them to Moloch, nor shall you profane the name of your God; I am Yehovah. Leviticus 18:21 21. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Yehovah your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected by children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. Exodus 20: 5 Do Not Be Unequally Yoked …16 What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” 17“Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 2 Cor 6:1717 The Sovereignty of God 1 Hear the word that the LORD speaks to you, O house of Israel. 2 This is what the LORD says: “Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by the signs in the heavens, although the nations are terrified by them. 3 For the customs of the people are worthless; they cut down a tree from the forest; it is shaped with a chisel by the hands of a craftsman…4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they faste n it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. Kont inqum kważi kull filgħodu għall-ħabta tat-3 ta’ filgħodu b’vers ieħor li juri li l-kelma t’Alla tappoġġja l-biċċa l-kbira tat-tagħlim Kristjan. Il-mistoqsija li staqsejt lili nnifsi hija, jien lest niffaċċjaIl-ġudizzju rrabjat ta’ Alla? Niftakar kif ħsibt li kont tajjeb biżżejjed biex inkun l-ewwel fil-linja mill-gradi tal-perla. Jien mort il-knisja darbtejn fil-ġimgħa, nistudja l-Bibbja darba fil-ġimgħa, tajt xhieda lill-barranin, ġbart żraben, annimali ibbalzmati, xkupilji tas-snien, mitmugħ lil dawk bla dar, tajt xhieda lill-pazjenti fid-djar tal-anzjani, tajna aktar minn 30,00 binarju barra u jien mibnija 3 websajts Kristjani, ħadt barrani fid-dar tagħna. Għenna tant nies li tlifna l-għadd. I jistgħu jibqgħu għaddejjin; madankollu, jien ma żammejtx il-kmandament ta 'Alla, irrifjutajt li nimxi bl-istruzzjonijiet Tiegħu tal-ikel Levitiku, ma żammejtx is-Sibt Imqaddes Tiegħu u mort il-knisja f'ġurnata li għażilt. Iċċelebrajt il-Milied Pagan, l-Għid, u l-Halloween waqt li kont niekol ikel mhux nadif. U lil uliedi ma għallimtx il-Kmandamenti Tiegħu, jew kif kellna ngħixu bħalma għamel Ibnu. Inqum kull filgħodu naħseb x’nista’ ngħid biex inġibek tara li qiegħed fl-istess triq li kont fuqi. Huwa kbir ħafna l-ammont ta 'informazzjoni li qed nagħtik. Imma ma tbiddilx il-fatt li Alla kiteb l-istruzzjonijiet tiegħu fit-Torah Tiegħu l-ewwel ħames kotba fil-Bibbja u Hu jistenna li kulħadd jobdihom u jsegwi u jobdi lil Ibnu. Dawn il-versi huma: kliem Alla stess, li tiċħadhom huwa li tiċħad lil Alla nnifsu, li għandu konsegwenzi eterni. Dak li hu ta’ Alla jisma’ u jwieġeb għall-kliem ta’ Alla. Ġwanni 8:47 Bħala missierek, jien qatt mhu se nieqaf nipprova nipproteġik, anki sal-aħħar nifs tiegħi, jien lest nagħti ħajti u anke ruħi biex nipproteġi lilek u lill-familja tiegħek. Alla berikni b’din l-informazzjoni kollha. u qed nagħtiha lilek. Dawn it-tlett kelmiet, juru l-imħabba ta’ Alla bl-Ubbidjenza, l-uniku post fejn issib il-Verità huwa fit-Torah Tiegħu, u jekk ma nkunux fl-ispirtu Tiegħu ma nistgħux, jekk jogħġbok, jekk jogħġbok. Il-ħaġa li tgħix lili l-aktar fil-ħajja huwa fil-jum tal-ġudizzju, inti tgħid Daddy għaliex ma inti tagħmel me jisma? DAD

Are you Born again Worship God in Spirit and Truth The Gospel Deuteronomy 13 TEST Are you a true Christian? John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Meaning: “God so loved the world” — God's love extends to all people. “He gave his one and only Son” — God sent His Son for the salvation of mankind. “Whoever believes in him” — The promise is available to anyone who places their faith and trust in Him. “Shall not perish” — Believers are delivered from eternal separation from God. “But have eternal life” — They receive everlasting life with God. Simple Summary: John 3:16 teaches that God loved humanity so much that He gave His Son so that those who believe in Him may receive eternal life rather than perish. Context: These words were spoken by Jesus during a conversation with Nicodemus about the necessity of being born again and entering the Kingdom of God. Are you Born again Yes, that is a profound structural truth in God's plan. Yeshua was literally the first human to be physically raised from the dead into an immortal, glorified body. Scripture calls Him "the firstborn from the dead" (Colossians 1:18) and the "firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep" (1 Corinthians 15:20). By looking at Christ's physical resurrection, we get the exact blueprint for what happens to the saints. The Pattern: Firstfruits and the Harvest In the biblical agricultural cycle—which God uses to explain His plan of salvation—the priest would wave the single sheaf of the Firstfruits harvest before the Father. Only after that first sheaf was accepted could the rest of the harvest be gathered. Yeshua fulfilled this perfectly. He rose as the perfect Firstfruits. Because He broke the power of physical death, those who belong to Him will follow the exact same pattern when He returns. The Ultimate Transformation When the saints are raised at His second coming, they don't return as temporary, mortal flesh like Lazarus did. They receive a physical, permanent, immortal body just like the one Yeshua walked out of the tomb with. As Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:52-53: "...the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." Connecting Physical Resurrection to the Law This physical reality hits modern church traditions with an undeniable challenge: If Yeshua is the firstborn of a brand-new creation, and we are waiting to be physically raised into glorified bodies just like His, why would we live our temporary lives in rebellion to the laws He obeyed? When Yeshua walked the earth in His physical body, He perfectly kept the Sabbath, the dietary laws, and the Feasts. When He rose from the dead, He didn't change. For a Christian to claim they are waiting to inherit a resurrection body like Christ's, while actively treating His Father's commandments as dead, is a total disconnect. "Yeshua told Nicodemus that what is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit, moving like the wind. If you claim you are already fully 'born again' right now, why are you still trapped in a temporary body of flesh and blood instead of a glorified, immortal spirit body? Are you confusing the earnest promise of the Holy Spirit inside you today with the actual, physical rebirth that only happens at the resurrection of the dead?" Jesus Teaches Nicodemus 3 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.[ a ]” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[ b ] gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You[ c ] must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”[ d ] 9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. 10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.[ e ] 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,[f ] 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 1. "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart" Meaning: Total dependence on God, not self-reliance (Prov 28:26). Insight: Relational surrender to God’s unchanging character. 2. "And lean not unto thine own understanding" Meaning: Reject intellectual pride; human wisdom is flawed (Prov 14:12). 3. "In all thy ways acknowledge him" Meaning: Constant God-consciousness in every area (Col 3:17). Insight: Turns daily life into guided obedience. 4. "And he shall direct thy paths" Meaning: God’s promise of sovereign guidance (Ps 37:23).

Il-versi li jmiss jispjegaw li hemm it-tieni qawmien fejn il-mejtin kollha se jkunu qajmu mewt u l-ġudizzju se jsegwi. Is-Sentenza tat-Tron l-Abjad il-Kbir. Apokalissi 20:11 U rajt tron abjad kbir, u lil dak li kien bilqiegħda fuqu, li minn wiċċu ħarbu l-art u s-sema; u ma nstab l-ebda post għalihom. 12 U rajt lill-mejtin, żgħar u kbar, wieqfa quddiem Ġeħova; u l-kotba nfetħu, u nfetaħ ktieb ieħor, li hu l-ktieb tal-ħajja, u l-mejtin ġew iġġudikati minn dak li kien miktub fil-kotba, skond l-għemejjel tagħhom. 13 U l-baħar ta l-mejtin li kien hemm fih; u l-mewt u l-infern taw il-mejtin li kienu fihom, u kull bniedem ġie ġġudikat skond l-għemejjel tagħhom. 14 U l-mewt u l-infern ġew mitfugħa fl-għadira tan-nar. Din hija t-tieni mewt. 15 U kull min ma nstabx miktub fil-ktieb tal-ħajja kien mitfugħ fl-għadira tan-nar. Il-bnedmin kollha huma “taħt il-liġi” sakemm jidħlu f’patt permezz tal-fidi fil-Messija u jirċievu s-salvazzjoni bil-grazzja permezz taʼ dik il-fidi. Li tkun “taħt il-liġi” tfisser taħt il-piena tal-liġi, li hija l-mewt. Din tissejjaħ ukoll il-Liġi tad-Dnub u l-Mewt (Rumani 8:2). Pawlu jgħid ftit qabel fir-Rumani li l-paga tad-dnub hija l-mewt (Rumani 6:23). _cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ _cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ Yahweh _cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ _cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ _cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ Rekord tal-atti Il-frott tal-indiema huma azzjonijiet viżibbli – li spiss jissejħu “xogħlijiet” – li juru li persuna tassew inbidlet. Rumani 7:7 Tajjeb, mela, qed nissuġġerixxi li l-liġi t’Alla hija midneb? Mhux ovvja li le! Fil-fatt, kienet il-liġi li wrietni dnub. Qatt ma kont naf li l-koveting huwa żbaljat kieku l-liġi ma qaletx, “M’għandekx tixxenn”. 1 Ġwanni 3:4 Kull min jagħmel id-dnub jipprattika wkoll il-liġi; id-dnub huwa illegalità. Kull att huwa mniżżel fi ktieb, skond Apokalissi 20:12. Dawn ix-xhieda huma għaliex kull ħalq se jingħalaq, jew jitwaqqaf, quddiem il-Ħallieq tagħna; dnub tagħna huwa stabbilit. Kif forsi tafu, skont it-Torah, hemm bżonn minn 2 sa 3 xhieda biex jistabbilixxu kwistjoni u jikkundannaw lil xi ħadd għall-mewt. Imma rrealizzajt li dan jinkludi l-ħtija tagħna stess mal-Missier? Dewteronomju 19:15 (ESV) Xhud wieħed ma għandux ikun biżżejjed kontra persuna għal xi delitt jew għal xi ħażen b'rabta ma 'xi offiża li tkun wettqet. Fuq ix-xhieda ta' żewġ xhieda jew ta' tliet xhieda biss għandha tiġi stabbilita akkuża. Nafu li żewġ xhieda huma meħtieġa sabiex tiġi stabbilita l-ħtija tagħna. Tkompli. Rumani 3:19-20 Issa nafu li kulma tgħid il-liġi, dan ikellem lil dawk li huma taħt il-liġi, sabiex kull fomm jitwaqqaf, u d-dinja kollha tkun responsabbli quddiem Alla. Għax bl-għemejjel tal-liġi ebda bniedem ma jkun iġġustifikat quddiemu, peress li permezz tal-liġi jiġi l-għarfien tad-dnub. Il-mistoqsija li trid titwieġeb l-ewwel hija, min huma dawk li huma “taħt il-liġi”? F’ġieħ iż-żmien aħna sempliċiment niddikjaraw li l-umanità kollha hija “taħt il-liġi” sakemm jidħlu f’patt permezz tal-fidi fil-Messija u jirċievu s-salvazzjoni bil-grazzja permezz ta’ dik il-fidi. Dan jinkludi wkoll l-Iskrittura fejn Ġeħova qalilna li kien se jibgħatilna Messija li permezz tiegħu s-salvazzjoni tkun possibbli. Aħna nimpenjaw ruħna għal dik il- verità, u mbagħad ngħixu ħajjitna bħallikieku kienet vera li nuru, jew l- evidenza taʼ, dak li nemmnu li huwa l- verità. Li nagħmlu hekk huwa l-eżerċizzju tal-fidi tagħna fil-Kelma; permezz taʼ dik il-fidi u bil-grazzja taʼ Ġeħova, nistgħu nirċievu s-salvazzjoni. Wara li jkollna dik il-fidi, wara li nirrealizzaw li ħaqqna l-mewt u neħtieġu l-ħidma tal-fidwa tal-Messija u nbiddlu l-fidi tagħna f’azzjoni (l-ubbidjenza tagħna), ma nkunux aktar taħt is-saħta (liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt). Qabel kellna fidi fil-Messija, konna taħt il-liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt (is-saħta), imma wara l-fidi m’għadniex taħt il-liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt. Apokalissi 20:11-15 Imbagħad rajt tron abjad kbir u lil dak li kien bilqiegħda fuqu. Mill-preżenza tiegħu ħarbu l-art u s-sema, u ma nstab l-ebda post għalihom. U rajt il-mejtin, kbar u żgħar, wieqfa quddiem it-tron, u nfetħu l-kotba. Imbagħad infetaħ ktieb ieħor, li hu l-ktieb tal-ħajja. U l-mejtin kienu ġġudikati minn dak li kien miktub fil-kotba, skond dak li kienu għamlu. U l-baħar ta l-mejtin li kien fih, il-Mewt u Hades taw il-mejtin li kienu fihom, u ġew iġġudikati, kull wieħed minnhom, skond dak li kien għamel. Imbagħad il-Mewt u Hades ġew mitfugħa fl-għadira tan-nar. Din hija t-tieni mewt, l-għadira tan-nar u jekk isem xi ħadd ma nstabx miktub fil-ktieb tal-ħajja, kien mitfugħ fl-għadira tan-nar. (119-il ministeri) Dik rajt? L-għemejjel tagħna kollha qed jiġu rreġistrati fil-kotba; dawk il-kotba huma t-tieni xhud. Madankollu, ladarba jkollna fidi fil-Messija, insibu li m’għadniex taħt il-piena tal-liġi għax Hu ħallas dik il-piena. Madankollu, kif jista 'jkun? Għad hemm żewġ xhieda, allura m’għandniex aħna xorta ħaqqna l-mewt ta’ dejjem? Insibu t-tweġiba għal dik il-mistoqsija meta nħarsu lejn Kolossin 2:13-14. Kolossin 2:13-14 U intom, li kont mejta fil-ħtijiet tagħkom u fin-nuqqas ta’ ċirkonċiżjoni ta’ ġisimkom, Alla ħafrilna l-ħtijiet tagħna kollha, billi ħassar ir-rekord tad-dejn li kien kontra tagħna bit-talbiet legali tiegħu. . Dan warrabha, sammru mas-salib. Vers 13 jikkonferma li konna mejta fi dnubietna, imma permezz tal-Messija dnubietna huma maħfura. Allura... x'jiġri meta dnubietna jiġu maħfura? Ir-“rekord ta’ dejn li kien kontrina” ġie kkanċellat. Ġie mħallas mill-Messija u msammar mas-siġra. Fejn kien miktub ir-rekord ta’ dan id-dejn? Kien miktub fil-ktieb fejn ġew irreġistrati l-għemil tagħna, it-tieni xhud li jistabbilixxi l-ħtija tagħna. Ladarba dak ir-rekord tad-dejn jitħallas, jitneħħa mir-rekord tagħna; u aħna issa bla tebgħa. Issa hemm biss xhud wieħed! Ma nistgħux inqatlu b’xhud wieħed biss! Issa għandna l-ħajja ta’ dejjem! Il-Messija ħallas il-piena u b’hekk qered ir-rakkont tat-trasgressjonijiet tagħna biex ma setgħux jibqgħu jinżammu kontrina! Ir-raġuni li l-fidi fil-Messija taħdem mhix għaliex il-liġi tneħħiet minna kif xi wħud jemmnu li jgħallem Kolossin 2. Is-salvazzjoni taħdem fi ħdan il-fruntieri jew il-parametri stabbiliti mit-Torah għax it-tieni xhud meħtieġ biex jikkundannana għall-mewt ta’ dejjem tneħħa. Jehovah ma joperax barra mil-liġi Tiegħu stess; jekk Hu għamel, allura kif nistgħu nemmnu li għandna jew saħansitra nistgħu nissejħu ġusti. Il-Ħallieq tagħna huwa tal-għaġeb, perfett, ġust, ġust u tajjeb. Hu jagħtina struzzjonijiet li jagħtu dettalji dwar kif iridna ngħixu bħala poplu separat. Bħal missier tajjeb, meta niksru r-regoli, hemm penali għaliha; u hija waħda severa. Madankollu, peress li tant iħobb lill-poplu Tiegħu, saħansitra pprovda mod fi ħdan ir-regoli Tiegħu stess li nistgħu nkunu mifdija minn dik il-piena. Il-liġi tiegħu hija tassew perfetta; fih tinsab il-provvediment kollu Tiegħu għalina Dewteronomju 19:15 "Intom m'għandekx tikkundanna lil ħadd għal delitt fuq xhieda ta 'xhud wieħed biss. Il-fatti tal-każ għandhom jiġu stabbiliti bix-xhieda ta' żewġ jew tliet xhieda. Galatin 3:24-26 Għalhekk, il-liġi kienet il-gwardjan tagħna sakemm ġie Kristu, sabiex aħna nkunu ġġustifikati bil-fidi. Imma issa li waslet il-fidi, m’għadniex taħt gwardjan, għax fi Kristu Ġesù (Messija Yeshua) intom ilkoll wlied Alla, permezz tal-fidi. Il-“liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt” skorta, jew iġġibna, lejn Kristu billi tindika li aħna qegħdin fil-jasar/taħt is-saħta. Huwa sakemm il-“liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt” tgħallimna li aħna misħutin u fil-jasar, li nistgħu naslu għand il-Messija bil-fidi bħala s-Salvatur tagħna. Mingħajr dak l-għarfien ma jkollna l-ebda raġuni biex niġu lejh. Għalhekk, għandna bżonn is-“saħta tal-liġi” jew il-“liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt” biex tgħallimna li aħna qegħdin fil-jasar (taħt id-dnub – Rumani 3:20) sabiex “iskortana” lejn il-Messija. Huwa biex jgħallimna jkollna fidi u fiduċja fil-grazzja perfetta Tiegħu bħala l-prattika perfetta tal-Kelma magħmula laħam li saret is-saħta għalina fuq dik is-siġra. Galatin 3:25 Imma issa li waslet il-fidi, m'għadniex taħt gwardjan. Issa huwa ż-żmien li niftakru lura għal dik id-definizzjoni tal-fidi. Parti mill-fidi hija li nemmnu li dak li tgħidilna l-Kelma huwa minnu. Il-Kelma, li tinkludi t-Torah jew il-Liġi ta’ Alla, turina li ħaqqna l-mewt għax dnibna u li l-Missier għandu mod kif insalvaw minn dik il-mewt? Dan il-mod hu permezz tal-fidi fil-Messija, il-Kelma. Fi kliem ieħor, il-mod kif nistgħu nsalvaw huwa li nemmnu li dnibna u ħaqqna l-mewt għax hekk tgħid il-Kelma. Aħna nafdaw li dak li qalilna l-Missier huwa minnu, li biex inkunu ġusti għandna nsegwu l-Kelma Tiegħu, u mbagħad nagħmluh. Dan jinkludi wkoll l-Iskrittura fejn Ġeħova qalilna li kien se jibgħatilna Messija li permezz tiegħu s-salvazzjoni tkun possibbli. Aħna nimpenjaw ruħna għal dik il- verità, u mbagħad ngħixu ħajjitna bħallikieku kienet vera li nuru, jew l- evidenza taʼ, dak li nemmnu li huwa l- verità. Li nagħmlu hekk huwa l-eżerċizzju tal-fidi tagħna fil-Kelma; permezz taʼ dik il-fidi u bil-grazzja taʼ Ġeħova, nistgħu nirċievu s-salvazzjoni. Wara li jkollna dik il-fidi, wara li nirrealizzaw li ħaqqna l-mewt u neħtieġu l-ħidma tal-fidwa tal-Messija u nbiddlu l-fidi tagħna f’azzjoni (l-ubbidjenza tagħna), ma nkunux aktar taħt is-saħta (liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt). Qabel kellna fidi fil-Messija, konna taħt il-liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt (is-saħta), imma wara l-fidi m’għadniex taħt il-liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt. Il-liġi tad-dnub u l-mewt hija t-tutur, il-gwardjan. Għal darb'oħra, għal diskussjoni aktar dettaljata ta 'dak is-suġġett, jekk jogħġbok ara t-tagħlim tagħna “It-tutur m’għadux meħtieġ għax m’għadniex “taħt il-liġi” (tad-dnub u l-mewt). Meta nidħlu fil-fidi, għandna l-fehim li l-Messija ħallas il-piena tal-liġi għalina. Qed tibda tara kif dan kollu qed jaħdem flimkien? It-Torah ingħatat biex tiddefinixxi għalina x’kien id-dnub, hemm piena għad-dnub li hija l-mewt. Ħadd ma jista’ jinqatel sakemm ma jkunx hemm żewġ xhieda. Jehovah innifsu huwa xhud wieħed. Imma x'inhu t-tieni? Apokalissi 21:1 U rajt sema ġdida u art ġdida, għax l-ewwel sema u l-ewwel art għaddew; u ma baqax ba[ar.2 U jien ;wanni rajt il-belt qaddisa, ;erusalemm il-;dida, ni]el minn Alla mis-sema, ippreparata b[al g[arusa m]ejna g[al ]ew;ha 3 U smajt le[en kbir mis-sema jg[id: Ara, It-tabernaklu ta’ Alla hu mal-bnedmin, u jgħammar magħhom, u huma jkunu l-poplu tiegħu, u Alla nnifsu jkun magħhom, u jkun Alla tagħhom. 4 U Alla jixsaħ kull dmugħ minn għajnejhom; u ma jkunx hemm aktar mewt, la dwejjaq, u lanqas biki, u la jkun hemm aktar uġigħ, għax dak ta’ qabel għadda. Isaija 65:17 "Ara, jien noħloq smewwiet ġodda u art ġdida. L-affarijiet ta 'qabel. mhux se jiġu mfakkar, u lanqas se jiġu f'moħħna Titolu Kbir

Christ didn't come to bring peace but a sword The Real Jesus Not Peace, but a Sword 34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. Matthew 10:34-36 Watchman’s Message In the message in Hosea, Yehovah is saying my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. He is warning us that it is our responsibility to give them warning from Him, about the coming wrath that is coming on this earth. Our Father repeated these few verses, He wants us to understand that He is serious, and will hold us accountable if we don't warn them (“son of man" denotes mankind generally) Hebrew people, This passage from Ephesians 4:25 urges believers to reject falsehood, lies, and deceit in favor of speaking the truth to their neighbors. The core reasoning is that Christians are interconnected members of one body—the body of Christ—making lying to one another equivalent to harming oneself. Sheep among Wolves …20 For it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. 21 Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rise against their parents and have them put to death. 22 You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.… Matthew 10:20-22 “I’ve come to start a fire on this earth—how I wish it were blazing right now! I’ve come to change everything, turn everything right side up—how I long for it to be finished! Do you think I came to smooth things over and make everything nice? Not so. I’ve come to disrupt and confront! From now on, when you find five in a house, it will be— Three against two, and two against three; Father against son, and son against father; Mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; Mother-in-law against bride, and bride against mother-in-law.” Luke 12:49 Therefore, rejecting all falsehood [whether lying, defrauding, telling half-truths, spreading rumors, any such as these], SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE WITH HIS NEIGHBOR , for we are all parts of one another [and we are all parts of the body of Christ]. New Life in Christ Ephesians 4:25 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. 25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one another. 26“Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger, BE ANGRY [at sin--at immorality, at injustice, at ungodly behavior], YET DO NOT SIN; do not let your anger [cause you shame, nor allow it to] last until the sun goes down. 27 And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness]. 28 The thief [who has become a believer] must no longer steal, but instead he must work hard [making an honest living], producing that which is good with his own hands, so that he will have something to share with those in need. 29 Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak]. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [but seek to please Him], by whom you were sealed and marked [branded as God’s own] for the day of redemption [the final deliverance from the consequences of sin]. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor [perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding] and slander be put away from you, along with every kind of malice [all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence]. 32 Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding] , forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave [c] you. I Never Knew You 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:21-23 Narrow gate 13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction , and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Matthew 7:13-14 Many are called but few are chosen

Paul told us to test all things to see if they were from God. do they include His law? Deflections are the Greatest sin The shortest verse in the English Bible is "Jesus wept" found in John 11:35. It has only 10 letters and two words. In Luke, Jesus weeps (eklausen, meaning to sob aloud) as he enters Jerusalem. He grieves because the people rejected his offer of peace, refused to turn to God, and would soon face destruction as a consequence. In short, the devil's deflection on Matthew 5:18–19 works by convincing people that taking Yeshua’s exact words seriously is somehow a violation of his grace. It redirects the mind from humble obedience to theological technicalities that excuse setting aside the commands. Matthew 17-19 17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18 For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.… Prof the law was fulfilled by Yeshua: He was the only person in the entire Bible that never sinned, He showed us how to love Yehovah the creator ,He showed how to love our fellow man , He show us how to keep the Sabbath Holy, He never ate anything unclean, and He always kept all of Yehovah appointed . "It is easy to claim the name of Christ, but true discipleship is shown through obedience. Many claim to follow Him while actively living against everything He commanded." John 3:36 ("whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him") I have not come to abolish them , 1 John 3:8, which states that "whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil". Ecclesiastes 12:13 –– "Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. Proverbs 28:9: " He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. 1 John 2:4, w hich says: "Whoever says 'I know him' but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in that person." John 14:15 "If you love me, you will keep my commandments" Matthew 19:17 , "If you want to enter life, keep the commandments". Revelation 12:17. The text states that the dragon (identified as the devil and Satan) was angry with the woman and went to make war with the rest of her offspring—defined as those who keep God's commandments Revelation 13:7 , which states that the beast empowered by the dragon was allowed "to make war with the saints, and to overcome will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; Luke 7: 28 I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” Matthew 11:11 Verily I say unto you, among them that are born of women, there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist; notwithstanding, he that is least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he. (Because no one on earth has been to heaven ) The Core Connection When people deflect Scripture, they usually do not burn the Bible; instead, they remove the commands they find uncomfortable by declaring them "least" or obsolete, or they add human loopholes to bypass God's true intent (as Yeshua rebuked in Mark 7:9–13). Matthew 5:18–19 makes clear that in God's eyes, even what humans consider "least" remains fully binding. Below are the primary biblical passages that explicitly prohibit adding to, taking away from, or modifying God's word and commandments: Here is the complete, unified breakdown bringing together every point—from altering words, names, and titles to adopting pagan holidays, eating unclean, rejecting God's appointments, and profaning the Sabbath—and the explicit judgments Scripture attaches to them. The Deflection: Weaponizing Grace The core deception pits Yeshua’s salvation against his instructions—tricking believers into viewing obedience as "legalism" rather than the natural fruit of love. 1. Redefining "Fulfill" (Matt. 5:17) The Trick: Treating "fulfill" as "terminate and throw away." The Reality: In first-century Hebrew idiom, to fulfill meant to correctly interpret and live out the Torah's full intent. Yeshua came to demonstrate how to keep it, not to dismiss it. 2. False Dichotomy: "Love vs. Rules" The Trick : Framing commands as rigid legalism and "love" as abstract freedom. The Reality: Yeshua defined love through action: "If you love me, keep my commands" (John 14:15). The commands define what love looks like in practice. 3. Perverting Grace The Trick : Rebranding grace as an excuse for apathy toward God's standards. The Reality: Grace is divine empowerment (Titus 2:11–12). It cleanses the past and transforms the heart so obedience becomes a joy. 4. Theological Loopholes The Trick: Using complex technicalities to bypass Matthew 5:18–19. The Reality: It creates a state where people cite treatises to excuse setting aside the very commands Yeshua warned never to relax. The Ultimate Irony: It turns distrust of Yeshua's direct words into a false badge of "spiritual maturity," making people feel enlightened precisely because they have explained away the Sermon on the Mount. Altering God's Word & Loss of Eternal Life Directly modifying, taking away from, or adding human commentary to the text forfeits access to eternal inheritance: Revelation 22:18–19 "If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll... God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City..." The Judgment: Direct assignment of written plagues and removal of one's name/share from the Tree of Life and the Heavenly City. 2. Deception, Changing Truth, and the Lake of Fire Creating false doctrines, fabricating traditions, or distorting scriptural facts places a person under the category of deception: Revelation 21:8 & Proverbs 30:6 "...and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur... Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar." The Judgment: Divine rebuke, public exposure as a deceiver, and final condemnation in the Lake of Fire alongside those who reject God's authority. 3. Profaning and Substituting the Sacred Names Erasing, changing, or replacing the covenant name Yehovah (יְהוָה) or the redemptive name Yeshua (יֵשׁוُעַ) with human alternatives violates the core command regarding His identity: Exodus 20:7 & Jeremiah 23:26–27 "You shall not take the name of the Lord [Yehovah] your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless... who try to make My people forget My name..." The Judgment: Being held guilty before the heavenly court and suffering spiritual blindness for lowering His divine identity to human tradition. 4. Adopting Pagan Holidays & Mixing Worship Customs Importing pagan customs, celebrations, and cultural holidays into the worship of the Creator is explicitly condemned as adding to His word: Deuteronomy 12:30–32 "Be careful not to be ensnared... saying, 'How do these nations serve their gods? We will do likewise.' You must not worship the Lord your God in their way... do not add to it or take away from it." The Judgment: Falling into spiritual entrapment and practicing what God classifies as a detestable abomination. 5. Eating Unclean Things & Rejecting Purity Instructions Dismissing God's dietary laws in favor of personal appetite or cultural preference is identified as active rebellion against His sanctification: Isaiah 66:15–17 "For behold, the Lord will come with fire... Those who sanctify themselves... eating swine’s flesh and the abomination and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the Lord." The Judgment: Facing direct destruction alongside the lawless at the return of the Lord. 6. Rejecting God's Appointed Times (Moedim) Substituting man-made religious calendars and holidays for the eternal appointed feasts listed in Leviticus 23 leads to divine abandonment: Leviticus 23:2, 14 & Hosea 2:11 "The appointed times of the Lord... shall be a statute forever... I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her New Moons, her Sabbaths, and all her appointed feasts." The Judgment: Withdrawal of true spiritual insight, leaving individuals in empty, powerless religious ritual. 7. Profaning the Seventh-Day Sabbath Setting aside, altering, or declaring God's holy Sabbath done away with is highlighted as a primary trigger for divine wrath: Ezekiel 22:26, 31 "Her priests have violated My law... they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them... Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath." The Judgment: Complete loss of God's presence, exposure to spiritual deception, and direct divine indignation. Actions & Consequences Deuteronomy 4:2 & 12:32 Adding to or taking away from divine decrees Inability to truly keep the Lord’s commandments Proverbs 30:6 Adding human thoughts or rules to God's words Divine rebuke and being found a liar Matthew 5:19 Loosening or removing the "least" command Called least in the kingdom of heaven Revelation 22:18–19 Adding to or removing text from prophetic revelation Receiving the plagues written in the book; removal from the Book of Life Jeremiah 26:2: The Command to Declare the Whole Word Without Diminishing It In Jeremiah 26:2, God explicitly commands the prophet Jeremiah to speak His message in its entirety, warning him against holding back or softening a single word to accommodate human sensitivities. Jeremiah 26:2 (NKJV) "Thus says the LORD: 'Stand in the court of the LORD’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, who come to worship in the LORD’s house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Do not diminish a word.'" Key Insights from the Text "Do Not Diminish a Word": The Hebrew word used for "diminish" is gara, which means to subtract, withhold, trim down, or take away. God specifically instructs that not a single word can be removed or softened to make the message more comfortable or acceptable to the hearers. The Setting (The Temple Court): Jeremiah was sent to the very place where religious people gathered to worship. The warning was given directly to the religious leaders and worshippers who were inclined to selectively accept God's comfort while deflecting His warnings. The Purpose of Uncompromising Truth (Jeremiah 26:3): God explains why every word must be delivered without subtraction: "Perhaps everyone will listen and turn from his evil way, that I may relent concerning the calamity which I purpose to bring on them because of the evil of their doings." Trimming or diminishing God's warning deprives people of the chance to fully understand their standing and genuinely repent. Parallel Warnings Against Withholding God's Word PassageThe Command / PrincipleThe Severity Jeremiah 26:2"Do not diminish a word."Withholding truth prevents genuine repentance. Ezekiel 3:17–18The watchman must warn the wicked with God's exact words. If the watchman fails to warn them, their blood is required at his hand. Acts 20:26–27 Paul declares: "I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God."True faithfulness requires delivering the entire truth without omitting difficult doctrines. Scriptural Definitions of Misusing or Deflecting God's Word The Bible addresses several ways people reject, distort, or deflect Scripture rather than submitting to it: Wresting / Distortion (Strebloo): Taking Scripture out of its intended context to force a desired outcome or opinion. Substituting Human Tradition: Setting aside explicit commandments in favor of human traditions or personal rationalizations. Partial Obedience: Accepting passages that align with personal desires while ignoring or explaining away inconvenient commandments. Pharisaical Deflection: Using theological debates or legalistic technicalities to evade the underlying moral principles of God's law. Key Scriptures & Warnings Scripture Reference Concept / Action Theological Consequence / Punishment 2 Peter 3:16 Distortion ("untaught and unstable people twist [Scripture] to their own destruction")Spiritual ruin and destruction. Mark 7:8–13 Setting aside God's word for human tradition ("making the word of God of no effect")Hypocrisy; spiritual blindness and rejection by God. Revelation 22:18–19 Adding to or taking away from prophetic words Loss of share in the tree of life; receiving the plagues described. Galatians 1:8–9 Preaching a modified or perverted gospelCondemnation (Anathema / eternal separation). Matthew 7:21–23 Hearing or using Scripture without practicing obedience Rejection by Christ at final judgment ("I never knew you; depart from me"). Matthew 5:18–19 addresses the authority, permanence, and obligation of God's law, specifically warning against setting aside or misrepresenting even the smallest part of Scripture. Matthew 5:18–19 ( NKJV) 18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Breakdown & Key Definitions Permanence of Scripture ("Jot" and "Tittle"): Jot (Yod ): The smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet. Tittle: The minute stroke or pen-mark that distinguishes similar Hebrew letters. Meaning: Jesus emphasizes that every minute detail of God's word is intentional, authoritative, and enduring. None of it can be discarded or treated as obsolete. The Act of Deflecting or Relaxing the Law: Verse 19 explicitly addresses those who "break" (Greek: luo, meaning to loosen, dissolve, set aside, or declare non-binding) the commandments and "teach men so" (leading others to minimize or deflect those instructions). The Consequences & Judgment Action / Stance Toward ScriptureDirect Consequence (Verse 19) Loosening, ignoring, or teaching others to minimize even the smallest commandment"Shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven" Practicing and teaching the fullness of God's commandments"Shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven" The Biblical Prohibition Against Adding or Removing Scripture repeatedly warns that altering God's word —whether by addition, subtraction, or reclassifying what is "least" or "greatest"—is a severe offense against divine authority. Key Scriptures on Adding and Subtracting Deuteronomy 4:2 & 12:32: "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God..." Proverbs 30:5–6: "Every word of God is pure... Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar." Revelation 22:18–19: "If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life..." How "Adding and Removing" Relates to "Least and Greatest" In Matthew 5:18–19, Yeshua bridges these concepts by declaring that not even a single "jot or tittle" (the smallest strokes of text) can be removed. Passage Action Status / Consequence Matthew 5:19 Loosening / Removing the "Least": Breaking or setting aside small commandments and teaching others to treat them as irrelevant."Called least in the kingdom of heaven" Matthew 5:19 Upholding All: Keeping and teaching both major principles and minor commands faithful to God's intent."Called great in the kingdom of heaven" Proverbs 30:6 Adding Human Doctrines: Elevating human traditions or extra-biblical rules to the level of Scripture.Rebuked by God; found to be a liar Revelation 22:19Removing / Stripping Scripture: Erasing, deleting, or outright rejecting parts of God's revealed word.Loss of share in the tree of life and holy city The Core Connection When people deflect Scripture, they usually do not burn the Bible; instead, they remove the commands they find uncomfortable by declaring them "least" or obsolete, or they add human loopholes to bypass God's true intent (as Yeshua rebuked in Mark 7:9–13). Matthew 5:18–19 makes clear that in God's eyes, even what humans consider "least" remains fully binding. Jesus on Human Tradition vs. God's Commandments In Matthew 15:1–9 and Mark 7:1–13,Yeshua directly confronts religious leaders for using human tradition to bypass, void, or deflect explicit Scripture. The Primary Passages Matthew 15:3, 6, 8–9 (NKJV) 3 "He answered and said to them, 'Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?'... 6 'Then he need not honor his father or mother.' Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition... 8 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. 9 And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'" How Deflection Works: The "Corban" Example (Mark 7:9–13) Yeshua singles out a specific practice of Deflecting to show how people legally manipulate language to void God's law: Summary of Consequences Method of Distortion Spiritual Outcome Scriptural Reference Substituting tradition for Scripture Worship becomes in vain (useless before God)Matthew 15:9 Using religious loopholes to avoid duty Transgressing God's direct commandments Matthew 15:3 Elevating human rules over divine intent Laying aside and nullifying God's wordMark 7:8, 13 The Authority and Integrity of Matthew 5:18 Matthew 5:18 stands as one of the strongest statements in Scripture regarding the absolute preservation, authority, and unchangeable nature of God's word. Matthew 5:18 (NKJV) "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled." Core Warnings Embedded in Matthew 5:18 Warning Against Erasing "Minor" Details: By pointing to the yod (smallest letter) and tittle (smallest stroke of a pen), Yeshua warns that no detail of God’s word is irrelevant, dispensable, or open to human erasure. Warning Against Human Expiration Dates: The phrase "till heaven and earth pass away" establishes that human cultures, opinions, or changing times do not have the authority to declare God's law expired or invalid. Warning Against Partial Fulfillment: The law remains fully authoritative until "all is fulfilled." Attempting to dismiss portions of Scripture before God’s complete redemption plan is realized is a direct violation of Christ’s standard. Cross-References: The Immutable Nature of Scripture Scripture Reference Parallel Concept Consequence / Warning Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Psalm 119:89 "Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven."Scripture is fixed by divine decree, beyond human alteration or deflection. Luke 16:17 "And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail."The total reliability of Scripture; not even the smallest mark can fail to perform its purpose. The Warning Applied: Deflection vs. Submission When Matthew 5:18 is paired with verse 19, the warning becomes personal: anyone who attempts to "relax," "loosen," or deflect even the smallest part of God's word—or who teaches others that minor commands do not matter—places themselves in direct opposition to Christ’s declaration of the law's permanence. In Matthew 5:17–18, Jesus clarifies His relationship to the Old Testament, ensuring His followers understand He came neither to abolish Scripture nor to permit people to ignore its commands. Matthew 5:17–18 (NKJV) 17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled." Four Ways Christ Fulfills the Law and the Prophets 1. Perfect Obedience (Moral & Righteous Fulfillment): Yeshua lived a sinless life, keeping every detail of the Law—down to every "jot and tittle"—without failure (1 Peter 2:22, Hebrews 4:15). Where human tradition bypassed God’s intent, Yeshua upheld its absolute moral purity. 2. Prophetic Completion (Messianic Fulfillment): Yeshua fulfilled hundreds of Old Testament prophecies, types, and shadows regarding the Messiah—from His birth and ministry to His sacrificial death and resurrection (Luke 24:44). 3. The Ultimate Sacrifice (Sacrificial & Ceremonial Fulfillment): The ceremonial laws, animal sacrifices, and priesthood were shadows pointing forward to Christ. By offering Himself as the perfect, once-for-all sacrifice (Hebrews 10:1–10), He brought the penal demands of the ritual law to their intended completion. 4. Revealing Full Intent (Deeper Spiritual Meaning): In the rest of Matthew 5 (the "Sermon on the Mount"), Yeshua demonstrates what fulfilling the law looks like in practice. He goes beyond outward compliance to address the heart: showing that murder begins with hatred, adultery begins with lust, and partiality violates love (Matthew 5:21–48). Summary Matrix: Fulfill vs. Abolish False Assumption ("Destroy / Abolish")Biblical Realit y ("Fulfill")Scriptural Context Erasing the Old Testament commands Bringing them to their complete, intended goal Matthew 5:17 Declaring Scripture obsolete or unimportant Establishing its eternal authority and moral depth Romans 3:31 Setting aside the strict demands of God Satisfying those demands fully through Christ In Romans 10:4, Paul addresses the ultimate goal and resolution of God's law, resolving how Christ relates to the righteous demands of Scripture. Romans 10:4 (NKJV) "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes." Understanding "End" (Telos) The Greek word used here for "end" is telos. It does not mean "destruction," "abolition," or "termination," but rather: Goal or Target: The destination toward which the Law was always pointing (like the "end" of a journey). Fulfillment / Completion: The realization of the Law’s ultimate design and purpose. Consummation: The bringing of something to its intended final state. Three Key Theological Dimensions 1. Christ as the Target (The Goal of the Law): The Law was never designed to be an end in itself; it was a tutor or guardian intended to lead people to Christ by revealing God's absolute holiness and human inability to achieve perfection (Galatians 3:24). Christ is the target the Law aimed at all along. 2. Christ as Righteousness (Ending Self-Righteousness): Human beings often attempt to deflect or twist Scripture to construct their own system of merit. Romans 10:3–4 directly contrasts two ways of seeking righteousness: Human Effort / Self-Righteousness Divine Righteousness in Christ Attempting to keep the Law to earn salvation Receiving the righteousness of God as a gift through faith Lowering or distorting commands to fit human limits Relying on Christ’s total, perfect keeping of every "jot and tittle" Seeking righteousness by personal performance Receiving righteousness by believing in Christ (Romans 3:21–22) 3. Termination of the Law as a Means of Justification: While the moral truth of God's word remains eternal (Matthew 5:18), Christ ended the Law's role as a system for securing acceptance before God. Believers are no longer under the condemnation or curse of the Law (Romans 8:1, Galatians 3:13), because Christ satisfied its requirements on their behalf. The Law as "Guardrails" Against Sin The metaphor of the Law as a set of guardrails aligns closely with how Scripture describes God's commandments: they establish clear boundaries to expose danger, keep individuals from veering into sin, and protect them from destruction. The role of keeping Christ’s commandments True believers do keep His commandments. Yeshua said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). 1 John repeatedly links knowing God, abiding in Him, and obedience as evidence of genuine faith rather than its ground. The Spirit enables the righteous requirement of the law to be fulfilled in those who walk according to the Spirit (Romans 8:4). Obedience is the fruit and necessary evidence of new life, not the condition that activates or preserves freedom from the law’s curse and condemnation. Key Scriptures: The Protective Function of the Law Psalm 119:11: "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." Guardrail Function: Internalizing Scripture acts as a direct barrier against temptation. Psalm 119:105: "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Guardrail Function: Defines the safe path, preventing a person from blindly straying off a cliff into sin. Galatians 3:23 : "But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which should afterward be revealed." Guardrail Function: Paul explicitly uses military/custodial language (phroureo - to guard or hem in) to show how the Law contained and restrained human sinful nature until Christ arrived. 1 Timothy 1:8–10: " Knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners..." Guardrail Function: Laws and boundaries exist precisely to restrain unruly behavior and prevent lawlessness from going unchecked. How the Guardrail Metaphor Completes the Biblical Picture Function of the Law Practical / Theological Meaning Scriptural Reference Exposing Sin (Mirror)Shows what sin is by defining absolute right and wrong Romans 3:20, 7:7 Leading to Christ (Tutor)Proves human inability to stay within boundaries, driving us to grace Galatians 3:24 Connecting Guardrails to Deflection When people deflect, remove, or relax parts of Scripture (as warned against in Matthew 5:18–19), they effectively tear down the guardrails God put in place for their protection. Removing the "least" commandment creates a gap in the fence, making it significantly easier to slide into major sin. Psalm 19 describes the warnings and rewards of God's law? Psalm 19: The Protective Value, Warnings, and Rewards of God's Law In Psalm 19:7–14, David transitions from God's revelation in creation (verses 1–6) to God's written word, providing a complete defense of Scripture's perfection and protective boundary. The Perfect Character of the Law (Verses 7–9) David uses six distinct titles and descriptions for God's word, showing how it acts as a total guide for human life: Term Used Description Practical Effect on the Soul The Law of the LORD Perfect Restores/converts the soul The Testimony of the LORD Sure Makes wise the simple The Statutes of the LORD Right Rejoices the heart The Commandment of the LORD Pure Enlightens the eyes The Fear of the LORD Clean, enduring forever Provides an unshakable foundation The Judgments of the LORD True and righteous altogether Imparts divine truth The Law as Warning and Guardrail (Verses 11–13) In verses 11–13, David explicitly describes how Scripture functions as a protective guardrail against different types of sin: 11 "Moreover by them Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is great reward." 12 "Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults." 13 "Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me..." Warning Against "Secret Faults" (Unintentional Sin): Scripture shines light on blind spots—sins committed in ignorance or rationalized away through self-deception. Guardrails Against "Presumptuous Sins" (Willful Sin): Presumptuous sins are intentional, high-handed rebellions (such as deflecting or deliberately ignoring a known command). David prays that the boundary of God's law holds him back so those deliberate sins do not form a habit or gain "dominion" over his life. The Ultimate Goal: Divine Acceptance (Verse 14) David concludes by bringing every thought, word, and reaction under the standard of God's word, recognizing that keeping the guardrails intact leads to true righteousness: 14 "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer."

Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, what should we do?”Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God and be baptized in the name of Yeshua for the forgiveness of your sins. then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Salvation False Savation Grace Repentance Can we lose your Salvation Hebrews 10:26-31 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[a ] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[b ] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; What are the 16 steps to salvation? Hear the Gospel. (Matthew 4:17John 8:32) Believe the Gospel (Hebrews 11:6, John 20:31) Repent of past sins (Luke 13:3, Acts 17:30) Confess faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:10, Matthew 10:32) Be Baptized (Galatians 3:27, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38) Be faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10) For all who obey him eternal salvation Hebrews 5:9 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.1 John 2:6 But don't just listen to God's word. Romans 8:1 We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.” Acts 5:32 “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.Romans 10:13-15 For But if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments. Matthew 19:16-26 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life…John 3:15,16 For we live by faith, not by sight. (Hebrews 11:6) And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.2 Corinthians 5:7 And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” John 3: Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”John 3:3 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. James 2:17-23 Faith is Scripturally defined as: Faith is: believing that everything God said is true, committing to follow what it says, and then doing what the Word says. In other words, believing/trusting, committing to obey or do, and then the action of obeying/doing it. Another way we say it is that faith is believing, committing, and trusting in God and His Word. All of mankind is “under the law” (The law of sin and death) until they come into covenant through faith in the Messiah and receive salvation by grace through that faith. God’s Children through Faith 23 Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak until the way of faith was revealed. 24 Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. 25 And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian. 26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes’ 28There is no longer Jew or Gentile slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. The way for us to be saved is to believe that we have sinned and deserve death because the Word says so. John 3:3 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of Yehovah." Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to Yehovah and be baptized in the name of Yeshua Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 28:9 He that turned away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination. Ecclesiastes 12:13 That's the whole story. Here now is my conclusion: Fear Yehovah and obey His commands, for this is everyone's duty. Galatians 3:28 T here is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Yeshua. James 1:22 But don't just listen to Yehovah’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. “Then Yehovah said to me, shout the message! Don't hold back. Say to my people Israel: You've sinned! You've turned against Yehovah your Elohim. Isaiah 58:1 "When you tell them all this, do not expect them to listen. Shout out your warnings but do not expect them to respond. Say to them, ‘This is the nation whose people will not obey the Lord their God and who refuse to be taught. (Jeremiah 7:27) (This is a Child of the Devil) For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. “John 4:24 Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Romans 12:1-2 Truth is God’s Torah You must be led by the Spirit Gal 5:18 This text brings the entire purpose of the Covenant into absolute, razor-sharp focus. It dismantles the false doctrine that "faith" is merely an emotional sentiment or a mental nod. Scripturally, faith is a three-part substance: Believing, Committing, and Doing. When Galatians speaks of being delivered from the "guardian" of the law, it means that before faith, we were prisoners locked in protective custody under the law of sin and death because we had no power to overcome the flesh. But through faith, we are born again, receive the Holy Spirit, and are finally given the supernatural capability to do what the Word says. 📋 The "Faith, Covenant, and Action" Summary Test Instructions: Answer these final 4 structural questions to see if your definition of faith aligns with the unchanging Word of Yehovah. Question 1: The Three-Part Definition of Faith Based on the scriptural definition provided, true biblical faith cannot be cut into pieces. It must include all three parts of the engine. How is your faith operating? A) Believing, Committing, and Doing. You believe everything God said is true, you have committed your life to follow it, and you are actively doing the physical requirements of His Word (the Torah). B) Mental Belief Only. You claim to "trust" or "believe" in Jesus, but your walk lacks the physical action of keeping His commandments, meaning you are only listening to the word and fooling yourself (James 1:22). Question 2: The Role of the Guardian (Galatians 3) Before the way of faith was revealed, humanity was locked under guard by the law because of our sin. Now that you have come into covenant through the Messiah, what is your relationship to the Father's instructions? A) Clothed in Christ to Walk in Truth. You are a child of God and an heir to Abraham (Galatians 3:29). Because you are led by the Spirit, you are no longer a condemned prisoner under the law of sin and death; instead, you present your body as a living sacrifice to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (His Torah) (Romans 12:1-2). B) Living Carelessly Under the Guise of "Freedom." You use the phrase "no longer under the law" as an excuse to ignore the Father's statutes, missing the point that Christ came to deliver us from sin, not to give us permission to commit it. Question 3: The Abomination of the Closed Ear In Proverbs 28:9, the Sovereign issues a stark warning about the spiritual mechanics of prayer: "He that turned away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination." When you approach the Father in prayer, what is the state of your ear? A) Unstopped and Submissive. You open your ears to His written laws first, adjusting your lifestyle, food, and calendar to match His voice, so that your prayers are acceptable in His sight. B) Deaf to the Torah . You willfully plug your ears to the specific laws of the Old Testament, yet you expect God to hear, answer, and bless your prayers in a state of continuous disobedience. Question 4: The Watchman's Shout (Isaiah 58 & Jeremiah 7) The Father commanded His watchmen: "Shout the message! Don't hold back... Say to my people: You've sinned!" Yet He warned in Jeremiah that the people would not listen or respond. When the hard, straight truth of the Scriptures confronts your current lifestyle, which nation do you align with? A) The Repentant Remnant. You hear the warning, accept the correction, undergo the baptism of repentance (Acts 2:38), and recognize that your ultimate duty on this earth is to fear Yehovah and obey His commands (Ecclesiastes 12:13). B) The Nation That Refuses to Be Taught . You hear the shout of the warning, but you harden your neck, refuse to respond, and continue following human traditions, matching the exact description of the children of disobedience. 🛑 The Final Diagnostic Verdict Scripture leaves zero room for neutrality. "For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24) If your lifestyle consistently hits the B markers, the diagnosis is absolute: you are operating in a counterfeit faith that the Bible defines as dead. A faith that refuses to submit to the Torah is a faith that has never been born again. The sifting is complete, the standard has been laid down, and the tests are done. Do not fool yourself any longer with empty words or the smooth traditions of men. Let the seed of the Word take root in good soil, present your body as a living sacrifice, and start physically doing what the King commanded while there is still time to cross the border into His Kingdom! Believe without obedience What is God's definition of a Christian? Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. What is Yeshua definition of a Christian Matthew 19:17“Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. But to answer your question—if you want to receive eternal life, keep the commandments.” 1 John 2: 3 And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. 4 If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. 5 But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. 6 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. Heb 5:9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, ESV And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him .” Acts 5:32 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Why did Jesus have to die for you? If you don't know why Christ had to die for you, What is sin? 4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness you are not saved and never converted. What are the end results of being let by the Spirit? Levitiku 11. Huwa se jżomm lil kulħadd responsabbli The Vision (Acts 10:9–16) Peter was hungry and fell into a trance. He saw a great sheet descending from heaven containing "all kinds of four-footed animals, reptiles, and birds of the air." A voice told him, "Rise, Peter; kill and eat." Peter, being a devout Jew, refused, saying he had never eaten anything "common or unclean." The voice replied: "What God has made clean, do not call common." Peter’s Own Interpretation Initially, Peter was "greatly perplexed" by the vision. However, the meaning became clear when he was immediately invited to the home of Cornelius, a Roman Centurion (a Gentile). According to Jewish tradition at the time, Jews were not supposed to associate with or visit people of other nations because they were considered "unclean." Peter explicitly interprets the dream in Acts 10:28: "He said to them: 'You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean.'" Summary of the Meaning The Symbol: The "unclean" animals in the sheet. The Reality: The Gentiles (non-Jewish people). While the animals weren't exactly "thrown up in the air," they were lowered from the sky in a large sheet held by its four corners. After the sheet was lowered and then "taken up" again three times, Peter eventually provided the specific interpretation for what the dream meant. 1. Land Animals For a land animal to be considered food, it had to meet two specific criteria simultaneously: It must have completely split hooves (cloven-footed). It must chew the cud (ruminate). StatusExamples Clean (Food)Cows, Sheep, Goats, Deer, Gazelles. Unclean (Forbidden)Pigs (split hoof, but no cud), Camels (cud, but no hoof), Rabbits (chew, but no hoof). 2. Sea Creatures For creatures living in the water (seas or rivers) to be considered food, they had to have: Fins Scales Anything that lives in the water but lacks both—such as shellfish (shrimp, lobster, crabs), eels, or sharks—was considered an "abomination" (shekets) and was not to be eaten. 3. Birds The Law does not give a specific physical "test" for birds like it does for mammals. Instead, Leviticus 11 lists 20 specific birds that are forbidden. The Rule of Thumb: Generally, birds of prey (eagles, hawks, vultures) and scavengers (ravens) are forbidden. Clean Birds: While not listed by name as "clean," birds like chicken, turkey, duck, and quail have traditionally been accepted because they are not scavengers. 4. Insects Most insects were forbidden, with one notable exception: locusts, crickets, and grasshoppers (insects that have "jointed legs for hopping on the earth"). Why these specific laws? There are three main perspectives on why Yehovah gave these instructions: Holiness and Separation: The primary reason given in the text is to make a distinction between Israel and the surrounding nations. To "belong" to Yehovah (as we discussed in John 8:47) meant even their diet reflected His order. Hygiene/Health: Many "unclean" animals are scavengers that carry parasites or toxins (like pork or shellfish). While the Bible focuses on the spiritual aspect, many see a secondary benefit in health. Symbolism: Some scholars argue that clean animals (like sheep) represent the peaceful nature of God's people, while unclean animals (like predators) represent violence and death. Knowing and loving God Deuteromy 13 1-7 Worshiping other G Not Human: God's nature is distinct from humanity; He is not fallible like humans. Doesn't Lie: He does not speak falsehoods or deceive. Doesn't Change Mind: He doesn't regret or alter His plans or promises. Faithful to His Word: If God speaks or makes a promise, He will certainly act on it and make it good.Numbers 23:19 John 10:35 1 John 2:4, if someone claims to know God but does not keep his commandments, they are considered a liar, and the truth is not in them Land Scavengers (The Pig/Swine) Because pigs are omnivorous scavengers with a very rapid digestive system, they act as a "reservoir" for various biological threats. Pathogens (Living): Trichinella spiralis: A parasitic roundworm that causes Trichinosis. The larvae encyst in the muscle tissue. +1 Yersinia enterocolitica: A bacteria that causes acute gastrointestinal distress, often found in pork products. Taenia solium: Known as the "pork tapeworm." If humans ingest the eggs, it can lead to Cysticercosis, where larvae migrate to the brain or muscles. Toxins (Chemical): High Histamine Levels: Swine have high levels of histamine, which can trigger inflammatory or allergic responses in some humans. Environmental Pollutants: Because pigs store waste in their fat cells due to fast digestion, they carry higher concentrations of pesticides and herbicides found in their feed compared to ruminants. Based on the biological facts we have discussed, here is a concentrated summary of the risks associated specifically with eating pork (swine). These risks stem from the animal's unique anatomy and its role as a scavenger. 1. Parasitic Risks (Living Organisms) Pork is a primary host for several parasites that can migrate from the meat into human tissue. Trichinella spiralis: This roundworm causes Trichinosis. When a human eats infected pork, the larvae mature in the intestines and then travel through the bloodstream to embed themselves in the person's muscle tissue. Taenia solium (Pork Tapeworm): Ingesting the larvae leads to intestinal tapeworms. However, ingesting the eggs (found in contaminated pork environments) causes Cysticercosis, where the larvae form cysts in the brain, which is a leading cause of seizures worldwide. 2. Digestive Efficiency and Toxins The most significant biological difference between "clean" ruminants (like cows) and "unclean" swine is how they process waste. Rapid Metabolism: A pig's digestive system is very simple and fast (roughly 4 hours). Unlike a cow, which has four stomach compartments to ferment and filter out toxins over 24 hours, the pig's system does not effectively neutralize or eliminate many of the poisons it consumes. Storage in Fat: Because toxins are not fully eliminated, they are stored in the animal’s adipose (fat) tissue. Since pork meat is "marbled" (fat is woven through the muscle), these toxins cannot be simply trimmed away. 3. Bacterial Pathogens Pork is a frequent carrier of several bacteria that thrive in the scavenger's environment. Yersinia enterocolitica: This is a common contaminant in pork. It causes fever and abdominal pain that is often mistaken for appendicitis. Listeria monocytogenes: Pork products, especially processed ones, are high-risk for Listeria, which is particularly dangerous for pregnant women and those with weakened immune systems. 4. Viral Risks Pigs are often referred to as "mixing vessels" for viruses because their cells are susceptible to both human and avian (bird) viruses. Hepatitis E: Research has shown that a significant percentage of commercial pork livers carry the Hepatitis E virus, which can cause acute liver inflammation in humans. Fact Check: Does Cooking Fix This? As established, while cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160°F can kill the parasites (like Trichinella), it does not remove the chemical toxins, heavy metals, or viruses that have been biologically integrated into the meat and fat. Natural Marine Biotoxins These are produced by microscopic algae (phytoplankton). Shellfish eat the algae, but the toxins do not hurt them; they just store them in their tissues. +1 Saxitoxins (PSP): Causes Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning. These are among the most poisonous natural substances known. They block nerve signals, leading to numbness, paralysis, and in severe cases, respiratory failure and death. +1 Domoic Acid (ASP): Causes Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning. This toxin can cross into the brain and destroy neurons. Symptoms include vomiting and confusion, and it can lead to permanent short-term memory loss or death. +1 Okadaic Acid (DSP): Causes Diarrhetic Shellfish Poisoning. This results in severe gastrointestinal distress (vomiting, cramps, and diarrhe a). +1 Brevetoxins (NSP): Causes Neurotoxic Shellfish Poisoning. These affect the sodium channels in the nervous system, leading to tingling sensations and loss of coordination. Fact: These biotoxins are heat-stable. This means that unlike bacteria, cooking, steaming, or freezing does not destroy them. If the toxin is in the meat, it remains dangerous no matter how well it is cooked. +2 2. Bacterial and Viral Pathogens Because shellfish are often found in coastal areas where runoff occurs, they concentrate human and animal waste products. Vibrio vulnificus: A bacteria naturally found in warm seawater. It can cause life-threatening blood infections (septicemia), especially in people with liver disease or weakened immune systems. Hepatitis A: A virus that affects the liver. Shellfish harvested from water contaminated by sewage are a major source of this virus. Norovirus: The leading cause of "stomach flu. " Shellfish concentrate this virus from the water, often leading to large outbreaks. 3. Heavy Metals and Pollutants As bottom-feeders, they are in constant contact with the sediment where pollutants settle. Mercury, Lead, and Cadmium: Shellfish can have levels of heavy metals many times higher than the surrounding water. Microplastics: Recent studies show that because they filter so much water, shellfish are one of the primary sources of microplastic ingestion for humans .
